LIPARI FULL DAY

Route Milazzo-Lipari-Milazzo

Departure from Milazzo 9.00. Having left the port we will proceed towards Lipari.

Once disembarked, the passengers will have about 5 hours to spend visiting the Island that extends itself for about 37 square kilometres. Lipari, the largest and most populated island of the Aeolian archipelago, offers its visitors a mix of culture, architecture and Greek-Roman archaeology. You may in fact visit Lipari’s Castle where you will find the Church of Saint Bartholomew, Patron of Lipari, or explore the archaeological site in ”Contrada Diana”. As well as the various Churches spread all over the town, a visit to the archaeological Museum “Luigi Bernabo Brea” with Prehistorical, Classical, Epigraphical, Volcanological, and Paleontological exhibitions, is a must. Finally, you cannot miss out on a walk along the narrow, typical Aeolian streets of the historical town centre of Lipari. Departure for Milazzo is set at about 16:00.

Arrival in Milazzo at about 17:45.
